Emke is a beautiful 5 year old full papered studbook mare owned by our long-time family friends, Danielle and Mike Black. She is sired by the stallion Olof, who is known for producing nice moving horses with three solid gaits. Olof is also the sire of the most used breeding stallion the past two years, Jasper 366. Emke was bought as a family horse due to her outstanding temperment and easy going nature. However, with her stellar bloodlines - she is closely related to the stallion Reimer 379, is a direct descendant of the mare Lobbrich Model & Preferent, and comes from the same stamline as the famous stallion Feitse 293 Preferent - she will also be used as a broodmare.

Emke has a huge, reaching walk, a rarity among Friesians. To go along with it, she has a floating trot, with knee action and flare to catch the eye of any casual observer. Her beautiful arched neck, expressive face, and kind, gentle eye are just a few more of her assets.

Emke is bred to the young stallion Ait 410 for a March 2007 foal. This foal will be available for sale through Mythic Friesians.
