Trienke comes to us on breeding lease from our friend Carla Jordet in Olds, Alberta. Trienke is a big mare with a lot of presence! She has a long, upright neck with a nice head and a beautiful shoulder. She has very animated movement and a very sweet temperament.

Unfortunately, due to being bred and started at too young of an age, Trienke has a back injury that prevents her from entering the studbook. She will remain in the foalbook. Her first foals have done very well at keurings, with her 2013 filly earning a first premium and Champion of the Day as a yearling! Carla and I hope that working together, we can help Trienke attain the coveted "Preferent" predicate based on the exceptional quality of her foals.

Trienke is sired by Ulke 338 Sport and out of a Star Nanning daughter. Like our filly Tsjitske, she is descended from Stam Line 103, a very influential stam line with a history of longevity. Her blood is quite unrelated to most of the stallions in North America, and she has a history of concieving on the first breeding with frozen semen every year. This makes Trienke a pleasure to add to our breeding program!
